I’m the redeem of the Lord says Lady Umie Isha Mbatillo Conteh
Lady Umie Isha Mbatillo Conteh is the spouse of Apostle
Elijah Batilo Speed Conteh, who serves as the general overseer of Revival Power
Ministries Worldwide. She has been a supportive and devoted partner to her
husband, demonstrating care, affection, loyalty, and commitment as a mother to
both her biological offspring and those she mentors spiritually. She serves as
a counselor and mentor for many women. Additionally, she is a prominent and
active advocate within the born-again Christian feminist community. In a recent social media post, she shared the
following reflection:
“I was born into tradition,
Raised with prayers I learned by memory,
Faith handed down like an heirloom—
Honored, respected, unquestioned.
I knew about God,
But I didn’t know Him.
Somewhere between obedience and expectation,
My soul began to ask questions my lips were afraid to speak.
I was searching—not to rebel,
But to belong.
Not to abandon God,
But to encounter Him.
And then I met Jesus.
Not as a religion,
Not as a foreign God,
But as Love—
A love that looked straight at my broken places
And didn’t turn away.
He didn’t force me.
He didn’t shame me.
He didn’t rush me.
He called me.
In His presence, I found grace instead of fear,
Relationship instead of ritual,
Freedom instead of striving.
Becoming a Woman of God didn’t mean I stopped honoring my roots—
It meant God rewrote my story.
It meant choosing truth even when it cost me comfort.
It meant standing alone sometimes,
But never abandoned.
I lost understanding from people,
But gained intimacy with God.
I lost approval,
But found identity.
Today, I am not perfect—
But I am planted.
Not flawless—
But forgiven.
Not religious—
But redeemed.
I am a Woman of God
Because Jesus found me when I was searching,
Held me when I was afraid,
And loved me into becoming.
This is not just a change of faith—
This is a resurrection.”
